I have written several family histories and numerous articles for newspapers and other publications in the places where I've lived: Dayton, Ohio; Memphis, Tennessee; Burlington, Vermont and Stuart, Florida.
My first novel, titled "Lucky Penny," was published on August 9, 2019. It's a heartwarming story about an unwed teenager whose newborn daughter is adopted by a loving family. She locks the memory of her baby in a tiny corner of her heart and moves on with her life. Almost 40 years later, she receives a startling call that will uncover an unbearable tragedy and reveal a family secret that will change her life forever.
My second novel, “First Son of Steuben County” was published in January 2022. It is the inspirational story of Adam Warner, a young man who grows up in Steuben County, New York, as the first-born son of an unmarried teenage mother. “First Son” chronicles Adam’s lifetime journey to unlock a family secret and learn the identity of his birth father.
My third novel “Death in Brazil,” was published in December 2022. This family drama and mystery tells the story of Ken Christianson whose sudden death in Puerto Seguro was suspicious. Was he a victim of a Black Widow, Black Magic, the Brazilian Mob, poor judgment or destiny? His brother and sister become amateur sleuths as they search for answers, and along the way they meet a cast of colorful characters.
